Speaking of reader contributions, sometimes I get amazing ones. The -35 series SMG was indeed made from 1935 onward, and in very small numbers, so it was shocking I got to see any at the Royal Armories, and info is scarce.
So imagine my surprise when a reader shares he has a showroom condition RU-35, and some paperwork to go with it!
I have now figured out almost everything about these guns, including the series history, how the fire selection works (it's weird!) and even how the rate reducer worked!
